Kubota’s M108DC is a dependable mid-sized utility tractor with the advanced features you need to take on the most challenging farming jobs. Kubota’s revolutionary new centre direct injection system (E-CDIS) engines offer more power, fuel efficiency and durability. Fully synchronised main and hydraulic shuttle transmission with optional creep speeds for specialty applications. The Hydraulic Independent PTO helps you increase productivity. The M108DC comes with a standard 540/540E rpm Hydraulic Independent PTO and optional 540/1000 rpm. The Category II 3-point hitches provide fast and simple attachment of rear-mounted implements. Clutchless hydraulic shuttle shift makes it possible to shift smoothly and easily. The M108DC’s hydraulic pumps are located on the side case instead of on the engine which shortens the oil flow path to increase oil flow efficiency. The bevel-gear front axle provides better all-around manoeuvrability, especially for jobs in tight spaces and improved ground clearance.
Engine
The V3800DI-T engine powers the M108DC tractor, equipped with Kubota’s revolutionary center-direct injection system (E-CDIS) . The E-CDIS engines offer a unique combination of more power, durability and better fuel efficiency, so you’ll be able to get the job done quicker and more efficiently while minding your budget. These engines also boast lower noise levels, which equates to less stress and fatigue after long work days. This hearty diesel engine employs a reliable 4-valve, center-direct injection system to achieve greater towing power. Combine this with the V3800DI-T’s turbo charger and you have all the power you’ll ever need, especially in the low rpm range, to perform heavy-duty tasks and during operations requiring sure-footed traction.
Transmission
The M108 offers 16 forward and revers gears from 2 ranges and 4 gears with electronic hi/lo shift and optional additional 8 creeper speeds. A power shuttle makes changes in direction a breeze. With a modulating valve, a steering column-mounted, finger operated shuttle lever makes it possible to shift smoothly and easily from forward to reverse, without using a clutch or stopping the tractor, e.g. for more comfortable and productive front-loader operation.
Ultra Grand Cab
The M108DC cabin comfort starts with its contoured, air suspension seat, and a powerful air conditioner. It offers low noise and vibration levels, improved visibility, and an uncluttered, full-flat deck with hanging pedals. The cabin is wide and offers tall operators a comfortable work environment. Reclining, weight-adjusted seats come standard, designed to absorb shock and significantly reduce operator fatigue. Instrument panel makes viewing the vital functions of the tractor clear and easy. The LCD readout displays travel speed, PTO revolution and hour meter information digitally.
Hydraulics & PTO
The open centre hydraulic system provides 65 litres/min dedicated to remotes and linkage, and a further 48.9 l/min for power steering and lubrication. Two remote valves are standard equipment and a further valve can be added as an option. Flow control is also available. The category 2 linkage is rated up to 3900 kg, together with the optional lift assist cylinder. The rear PTO is independent and hydraulically engaged. With two shiftable speeds of 540/540E and optional 540/1000 rpm kit, plus the freedom to smoothly switch the rear PTO on and off, even while the tractor is in motion, this must-have feature greatly enhances all demanding tasks with PTO implements.
