The M108 offers 16 forward and revers gears from 2 ranges and 4 gears with electronic hi/lo shift and optional additional 8 creeper speeds. A power shuttle makes changes in direction a breeze. With a modulating valve, a steering column-mounted, finger operated shuttle lever makes it possible to shift smoothly and easily from forward to reverse, without using a clutch or stopping the tractor, e.g. for more comfortable and productive front-loader operation.
The M108DC cabin comfort starts with its contoured, air suspension seat, and a powerful air conditioner. It offers low noise and vibration levels, improved visibility, and an uncluttered, full-flat deck with hanging pedals. The cabin is wide and offers tall operators a comfortable work environment. Reclining, weight-adjusted seats come standard, designed to absorb shock and significantly reduce operator fatigue. Instrument panel makes viewing the vital functions of the tractor clear and easy. The LCD readout displays travel speed, PTO revolution and hour meter information digitally.
The open centre hydraulic system provides 65 litres/min dedicated to remotes and linkage, and a further 48.9 l/min for power steering and lubrication. Two remote valves are standard equipment and a further valve can be added as an option. Flow control is also available. The category 2 linkage is rated up to 3900 kg, together with the optional lift assist cylinder. The rear PTO is independent and hydraulically engaged. With two shiftable speeds of 540/540E and optional 540/1000 rpm kit, plus the freedom to smoothly switch the rear PTO on and off, even while the tractor is in motion, this must-have feature greatly enhances all demanding tasks with PTO implements.
