Farm Hand – Quindanning – AUSTRALIAN RESIDENTS ONLY NEED APPLY
Shorelands Pastoral Co has been established for nearly 50 years in the Southwest of Western Australia. Our 3000 acre “Greystones” property in Quindanning runs sheep and cattle under the management of our experienced Farm Manager.
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate Farm Hand to assist the manager with the general day to day running of the property.
This is your opportunity to learn the operational components of the job with a view to learn the extra skills over time to be able to manage the property. Every day will be different and enjoyable.
You MUST be an Australian Resident (Visa holders need not apply) and have your own accommodation.
Who will be a good fit for us?
We are willing the train the right candidate, but ideally, you will have:
- A passion for agriculture and experience working on a sheep/cattle farm
- Experience working with agricultural stock
- Machinery operation (tractors, spreaders, RTVs etc)
- A basic understanding of budgets and costings
- A willingness to learn
