About the role

This full-time role at Bunbury Machinery is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our successful retail team. As a Parts, Trade & Hire Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with equipment rentals, and supporting the overall operations of our busy retail store, including regular support for our Parts team.

What you will be doing

·         Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to both trade and retail customers

·         Assisting customers with the selection, hire, and return of various machinery and equipment.

·         Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked retail floor

·         Handling cash and card transactions and reconciling daily sales.

·         Supporting the processing of customer orders and deliveries

·         Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient store operations.

·         Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What we are looking for

·         Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.

·         Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

·         Familiarity with retail operations and cash handling procedures

·         Basic mechanical knowledge or experience in the trade industry

·         Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required.

·         Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
