Kubota’s PH2001 Series rigid medium-sized power harrows have a robust, self-supporting trough design for extra strength and trouble-free operation. Two large conical bearings at a wide distance provide rigidity and long service life, while the reliable headstock means easy connection to all tractors and versatile heavy seed drill combinations. The horizontal transmission and self-supporting frame give increased strength, reduced weight and improved centre of gravity for lift capacity.
The Kubota PH2001 Series Rigid Power Harrows are designed for heavy conditions and tractors up to 180 PTO hp. Working widths in this series are from 3 m to 4 m, with matching transport width. Lower weight but strong design mean efficient performance in a range of conditions, with minimal power requirement and less fuel consumption. There’s 90 mm of clearance between the trough bottom and tine holder, and fully welded rotor housings ensure high bend and torque resistance in very tough soils. Optimum performance and low power consumption is further achieved by closer inter-tine carrier distance (250 mm) and helical tine drive layout.
The Kubota PH2001 Series provides optimum performance in difficult soils, with a robust trough and large clearance between the tine holder and trough bottom. This allows large amounts of residues and stones to pass freely and provides excellent results in mulch conditions. The PH2001 Series has two profiled 6 mm plates ensuring precise rotor spacing, and high bend resistance in the 140 x 400 mm trough. Like all Kubota power harrows, there are 4 rotors per metre of trough.
The Kubota “family” design headstock incorporates strength and durability while limiting machine weight. The headstock can be used across the PH1001 and PH2001 power harrows, and is tough enough to couple with the complete range of Kubota seed drills.
The Kubota PH2001 Series comes standard with quick-fit 15 x 330 mm carbide coated tines that fix to the tine holder by pin and clip. All tines can be quickly replaced without tools. The tines are arranged in varying angle positions to prevent damage caused by stones and to ensure even levelling. This also reduces peak loads on the driveline and results in smoother running and less fuel consumption. The carbide hard-faced tines guarantee high reliability, excellent wear and very low maintenance even in tough, abrasive soils.
Kubota offers a range of rollers to suit various soil conditions and crop establishment systems. The 550 mm diameter cage roller suits light to medium soils and dry working conditions, and is good for basic depth control. The versatile 575 mm packer roller suits medium to heavy soil, especially as part of a heavy power harrow / seed drill combination. The 565 mm Actipack roller is great in medium to heavy soils and perfect for aggressive seedbed preparation.
