Rotary Tillers

The Land Pride RTR12 Series reverse-till Rotary Tillers turn the soil to prepare a seedbed for gardening or lawn seeding. With uses in both rural and non-rural applications like landscaping and gardening, the RTR12 Series offers an economical tilling solution. The RTR12, and all Land Pride reverse rotation tillers, tends to achieve greater depth of penetration, moving and pulverizing more soil in the process, while burying residue as opposed to leaving it on top. Please note, that the Quick-Hitch may require a longer driveline, which is available through Land Pride Parts.

Product Features

The unique feature of the Land Pride RTR12 Series is a reverse rotating rotor. Most competitive tillers are forward rotating. Tines on a forward rotating tiller rotate in the same direction as the tractor tire as it travels forward. Reverse rotation is the opposite and a unique offering. Reverse rotation tends to achieve depth easier especially on hard ground since the reverse rotation tends to pull the tiller into the soil. Reverse till machines pulverize soil more aggressively and bury more residue leaving a perfect seedbed on top. The main limitation with reverse till is that they are not as well suited to stony or rocky soil.

Quick Hitch

Our Quick-Hitch System allows you to quickly connect and disconnect from the implement – most without leaving the tractor seat. This is a real time saver when working on multiple projects.

Offset capabilities

Offset capabilities allow the tiller to work closer to objects such as fence lines, buildings, or trees.

Gearbox

The cast iron gearbox offers a 3 Year Limited Gearbox Warranty, which demonstrates our confidence in the gearbox’s quality and lasting performance and durability.

Stamped chain case

Land Pride’s proven chain and sprocket drive system are among the most reliable in the industry. To prove it we are offering: Year 1, the warranty covers parts and labor, Years 2 through 10 are parts only.

Four tines

There are 4 ‘C’ shaped heat-treated tines per flange, which require less hp to move through the ground compared to conventional times. Four tines requires less horsepower than 6 tines.
